Telkom Webmail LOL

Just checking my email on telkom webmail and this is what the header reads

From: [email protected]
Date: Thu, January 1, 1970 2:00 am


Look at the date. Thats the date of the server! LOL

Those of you who also use telkom webmail also check. I would be interested to find out if I am right.

I think Telkom believes its in 1970 and thats why its 1Mbit ADSL with 3GB cap is the best.

No wonder it cant understand why we complaining !!!!

yip, i have a client that gets those as blank emails - upto 3 a day no adress no contents nothing-- just a blank email with a 1970 date

very irritating, not to mention it looks very unprofessional and suspicuose

I've seen those before. In my experience (webmail and antivirus / spamfilter plugins) the antivirus plugin was not scanning mails with certain content properly, and instead deleted the contents, hence the blank messages and 1970 date.

In other words, legit mail that was sent to you has most likely been trashed by the Telkom webmail infrastructure, if you received a blank mail with 1970's date.

Its my ADSL usage report that says that.
