Telkom...the worst electronic company established since the transistor was invented.

I cancelled ALL my telkom services with effect 30 September on 15 August. I explicitly told the lady that I want to be connected until the end of September. She confirmed and gave me a lovely reference number.

As of the 28th of August my services has been entirely dead. No dial tone nothing. I was away from home and returned today. I can't call them because it's not business hours. Can't log a call on the website because there is a line fault and I need to call them.

Tried sms'ing my fault but a get a generic response that my line does not exist

Best of all is that I already received my statement...just going to transfer all my funds to a different account the bastards.

Thank you Telkom...for providing me with a wonderful non-service for the past two years.

Telkom's billing and account system is seperate from the actual line management system so that fact that your line is disabled/disconnected has no bearing if you are being billed or not.
So they can still bill you even if they themselves disconnected your line.
