Telkom

We haven't moved accounts or changed accounts, but we have not been receiving emails to our Telkom mail account for a week, and surprise surprise, they do not know what the problem is. In the meantime I have to inform all the people we do business with, as well as the banks etc, to please use my Gmail account until Telkom sorts out the issue.
The time has come to change, despite the huge inconvenience and cost of doing so, but we need a reliable service.

ABDurbs, do not under any circumstance use an ISP`s email, in this case Telkom.

How to solve issue, options:
1. Register your own domain and set this up to use a free or paid mail service. {Domain cost +- R100/ annum}
2. Simply use a free account from Google, Microsoft, Yahoo or GMX.

We have used Telkom's mail for many many years with no issues, but just lately we have had 2 occasions where email just stopped working. We have our own domain with email which works perfectly and of course Gmail, but because 90% of our mail was done on Telkom, we have never moved it away from telkom, but that will be changing.

Thankfully I’m back up now .. got an sms to state pro rata from the 16th Feb, but haven’t received a revised invoice. Where can I check for the invoice details?
