TelkomInternet Capped Subscribers - March 2007

I can't believe I'm already capped. All I managed to use was a measly 6.5285GB. I hope my second account gets me at least 10GB. Maybe I should start saving up for uncapped ADSL.

Edit: The capped account is a 3GB account.

capped on the 11th, 5.45GB

Have they changed the capping method? now I can connect to the server but can't get anywhere. What used to happen is that I won't be able to connect with the username/password at all.

I can also connect, but I can just go to the Telkominternet site. :mad:

when I check connections, i only check google... maybe i should also check telkom next time :eek:

The cap happened soon after I check my usage on the telkom site(the same day). I wonder if that have anything to do with the capping...

The checking of your usage was not related to the capping of your account.
 
Total usage between two 3 gig accounts came to 29 gig before capping. One was 12 gig, the second was 17 gig. We've gone a little download crazy after being DSL-less for so long.

Also, when I got capped, there were only two sites I could access - telkomsa.net (not telkom.co.za) and Absa's internet banking page - but not their home page. No other sites would load for me.
 
My second 3GB account just got capped at 6GB. That makes a total of about 13GB from 2 x 3GB accounts.

Uncapped is looking VERY attractive right now. Pity about the price.
 
Got capped today at around 6,4GB.

Did around 10 the last 2 months, this sucks being capped.

Thank god for Web Africa Prepaid....
 
This Sucks!! Managed 42gigs on 3 accounts in Feb and only 21gigs in March with this new policy of theirs :mad: .
Opemweb got 384 uncapped for R999 so gonna join them and cancel my 3 telscum accounts. Bye Bye Telscum!!! :D
