TelkomInternet promotion (uncapped) question

Guys

My wife applied for this and Telkom installed the line two days ago. They even connected the router :D

Now, since yesterday I've been trying the 10215 (which the IVR tells me has changed) number which the tech said we needed to call to get the username and password. Everything is working and I can even get to the Verify ADSL page.

As I type this I'm holding, in fact I'm holding since 09:05 :(

Is there any other way i can get the username and password?
 
That's the hardest part. Doesn't help that the technicians that come to do the install give you the old number.

This number has been changed, you need to phone 10210 otherwise go to the closet Telkom shop. I had to do that as Telkom just never pitched with the modem and I had to go fetch it myself and got the username and password while I was there.
 
oh ok, must be a new thing then. I used it when mine was installed last month.

I think this might be my only option.

I held on for 20 minutes and got pissed off and hung up. I called again and was told "Your call will be answered in approximately 15 minutes". So I used the call back feature.

I was shocked when they actually did call back, but then after saying "This is Telkom calling you back"...pause..."If we cannot get hold of you, you will have to call US back"...pause...BEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!

WTFF?
 
Naah, I'm giving up. I eventually did get called back, pressed 1 and got put through to someone.

Now they tell me they need authorization from my wife. The reason I called and not her is because she knows jack about the routers and usernames/passwords /sigh

Guess we'll have to make a turn at TelkomDirect later :(
