kan maar net hoop van die meer innoverende ISP's (soos Axxess of dalk Openweb) bied beter produkte aan!

Hopelik is een van hulle scaly genoeg om dit reg te kry om 'n werklike verlaging in tariewe te weeg te bring...

I'm a relatively new DoBroadband3 customer, and I enjoy the fact that I get 4.5gb from my "3gb" account. But how long has it been this way? It wouldn't surprise me if Telkom were simply "trialling" the new package, and when they start calling it "5gb", they will start hard-capping at 5.

It's been like that "always" but no, that wouldn't surprise me either. Although in all honesty I'd prefer it if Telkom could call it for what it is, then I could happily switch providers. The only reason I keep my TelkomInternet accounts is because of the "softcap."

They are basically sugar coating *****, we pay more what we already have (4.5GB on a 3GB account, now being moved to 5GB)

If Telkom don't continue with soft capped accounts then the 10GB package from OpenWeb for R349 starts to look more attractive than two Telkom 3GB packages. If the soft capping policy continues then multiple 2 or 3GB Telkom packages will be more cost effective.
