So there are numerous post from people asking if TelkomZA is still active, or if they do help?

The answer is YES!!

PM them and they will see if they can assist. All I can say is they helped me out in getting ADSL in an area where the DSLAM was supposedly full.

So, all I can say is thanks Telkom for your assistance. I do really appreciate it and thought I would share my experiences with the Forum.

Yes I'm really impressed with this guys commitment to helping out the clients of telkom.
He has really picked up the image of telkom and I hope they reward him for his efforts.

In the interests of social media equality I have to counter that TelkomZA couldn't help me, although he did help me to finally accept that Telkom is simply not going to restore my line to what I had before. Despite pushing higher speeds elsewhere, and people on this forum arguing with me about Telkom 'replacing their cables', after a year and a half fight Telkom decided to offer me a refund instead of fixing my line.
