Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt his government pay large amounts of money in dollars to the families of anyone who was a suicide bomber in israel.

Source? I don't think the Nobel committee would've handed him a prize if he was responsible for something like that.

What is this going to cost the country? Its alot more than just changing a few signs. Wost possible time to change names with 2010 around the corner.

Who actually adopts the new names anyway? For example, who calls Pretoria Tshwane?

Someone called in to 702 the other day well actually sent in an SMS and demanded (I deeemand) that the radio station call it Tshwane. What a load of crap
 
Poor people(mostly blacks - due to apartheid,etc,etc) need food, blankets as its winter and a little bit of hope. I dont think renaming streets gives them anything of the above.
 
I can't believe they want to rename one of the roads in Amazimtoti to the bomber who bombed the Spar there and killed innocent people.

How is doing stupid stuff like this bringing the people of SA together?
 
Waste of money, they could rather build more low cost houses or something...

I really dont think that the poor give a fock about some street name when they dont have food or shelter. :mad:

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. Personally I wouldnt even walk on a road named after a man who murdered innocent woman and children for decades.

Also with the current xenophobic riots is naming our streets after foreigners really what the people want? LOL
 
chanting "goodbye" is so immature, like a bunch of kids in high school. I wish the ANC can start behaving like mature individuals do, then people would respect them.
