Have you seen the new Teacher Laptop program by govt: specs 9" screen etc etc (so we're talking netbook).. required to run MS Office Professional with Groove, Infopath, Access, etc.

I got a Aspire one A110. Lipnus preloaded sucked.
Loaded Tiny XP which has lots of tweaks to speed up the SSD drive speed issues in XP.
Add 32GB SD card and another 1GB RAM and the A110 flies.

Cool - have a lot of Googling to do clearly before I make my decision.

Bel Al - I know - & make no mistake I do want to whip out my notebook and look important LOL but I will also need to to show clients their online media and ppc accounts - will save many trees by not having to go with huge printouts to every meeting! So I guess I do need somehting that can connect pretty quickly otherwise I will look like an ass .

Interesting about PPT - I think I would need that - do any of them have PPT?

Linpus Linux versions have OpenOffice, And if you put Ubuntu on it, it will have it too. If you get a model with XP, you will have to fork out for Microsoft office or download OpenOffice

I don't have a windows addiction, quite happy with Linux. MS might just port Win7 to ARM, the rumours are out there.
