Start doing Kettle-Bell training to strengthen your glutes and core, you gonna need them with all the side lunges that are required.

can you see over the net drew ?

and lessons will help you sort out all the faults ...you need lessons as everyone is different

good balls make a difference as well

PM abzo for tips as well ..

Don't try hit too hard. Get your stroke mechanics to be consistent. Upward and forward swing to create topspin, and follow through.

If you want to hit on tennis chicks, make jokes about how well you can serve balls to them.

Tips on how to hit the net? I can help with that.
Anyway I can't afford to play tennis anymore, balls have become too expensive. Especially when the guys you play with don't bring balls and keep hitting your balls over the fence and into the river.

Lol, I have taken to youtube videos, I have hurt my hand from framing the ball so often at the top. Taking a few days break :(

keep your eye on the ball and watch the bounce

everyone has a different style of play, but your coach should help you smooth that out with proper techniques .... and youtube is great for tips and techniques, especially cause its free :)
