Terror attack outside U.K. Parliament

Just my 2c but the easiest solution would be to cordon off pedestrian areas with spaced vertical concrete/iron bars that will stop normal vehicles and at least slow down or damage larger vehicles to the point where it gives people enough time to try and react and get out of harms way .
Sensors in these bars attached to a central command center or authorities that triggers notification and alarms when breached or hit .
(Will be useful even in the event of normal car accidents)

Something like these .

Well, there's entertainment all round then.

Not a fan of the Chamberlain Option, must confess. He embraced both your options at the same time.

Yes, ok Arthur...

This is apropros of almost nothing, but I was watching this news break on Bloomberg yesterday afternoon.

The UK-side reporting was all low, modulated voices almost sitting back and sipping their tea, while the US-side host was screeching like a banshee.

It's far easier to get a rise out of an American than a Brit.
mybb is more hysterical than the Brits

C'mon, C4Cat, you gave your suggestion yesterday...simply :love:LOVE:love::love: them into submission!

No, that wasn't my suggestion, you wilfully misinterpret what I said. I mentioned Love, yes but nothing about submission, and only as an antidote to hatred. We need moderate Muslims on our side, in the fight against terrorism, it's that simple.

Anyway that's not an alternative option to either accepting terror is part and parcel of life in large cities or being in denial.
You have to first accept that terror is part and parcel of life in large cities if you're going to take steps towards dealing with it, however you choose to deal with it.

You are not reading right.

1. Sadiq said that threat of terror is part and parcel of life in large cities.

No you are not reading right, ie selectively. He said the threat of terror is real therefore they must take steps to prevent it. Are you saying the threat isn't real or they shouldn't take steps to prevent it? Really what he said is an absolute non event.

A copycat attack. Belgium are very lucky if it true like some are reporting that this guy had lots of guns in his boot.

What. The. Fsck. Dude.

I've just gone and ordered a million 'Jihad me at Infidel' cards covered in hearts. I best get on the blower to Hallmark. They're not going to be happy about this.

You have to first accept that racism is part and parcel of life in large multicultural cities if you're going to take steps towards dealing with it, however you choose to deal with it.

Lets try this with a different problem and see how it sounds...

See all the Muslims celebrating on al Jazeera feed .....wow

So all almost 2 billion Muslims are celebrating because a couple of ISIS loving people with your mentality(same mentality just supporting the other side) posted smiley faces on some news channel?:wtf:

It's no wonder we didn't miss you around here, the average IQ levels raised a bit when you didn't post much.

+1.

Any confirmation if the attacker was even muslim or who it was after all?

Apparently ISIS is claiming the attack but they don't even know the guys name, lol they are a joke and fading into oblivion slowly but surely since they don't have much support these days.:crylaugh:
