'Terrorist' ringtone offensive

No, they don't have a sense of humour anymore.

But it's apparently OK to still sell ringtones of people shagging and pr0n pictures.

If Ahmed is an Arab terrorist, and Muslim, he follows an extreme form of Islam that the more moderate Muslims are opposed to. So, the moderate Muslims are not been targeted here, only those who follow the extreme form of Islam. And who really gives a whatnot if the extremists/terrorist are "insulted". Heh, maybe you should.

Just my take on the situation, hope I don't get the ASA, or mods, on my case now. :)

Remember suicide bombers are carrying our their GODS work, Their GOD enjoys death in destruction in his name. So joking about terrorists is frowned upon :p
 
Strange how quick it becomes offensive and mocking Islam when the suicide bombers who are taking lives are the ones who mock Islam.

Exactly. I think the issue is that the video clip in question makes jokes about issues which are relevant to both extremists and moderate Muslims. With most religions there is a very thin line between humorous and offensive. If there was a clip taking the piss out of priests abusing altar boys it would be in viewed in the same light.
 
Well no wonder the world is in a F U. When freedom is speech is not allowed.
 
Rulings like this force cultures to melt down and change. It is not unacceptable to one part of society, but because we live in a multicultural society and multi-faith society many folks have to back down or quiet down on stuff they don't necessarily find offensive for the sake of the sensitivities of others. Sometimes it is a good thing, but more often than not I think it is bad.

Agreed.

PC and multi cultualism is just a form of oppression to stop people ruffling any feathers
