Terry Pratchett has died

Not only have we lost a literary giant, but we lost Rincewind, Cohen the Barbarian, the Patrician, Nanny Ogg, Granny Weatherwax, Carrot, Detritus, Havelock, Angua, Binky, Cut my own throat Dibbler and many, many more. Ironically, Death too (And Death of Rats).

I tried reading a book of his once. Was total ****e.

The inability to read is a tragedy. Are you dyslexic perhaps?

But there is not need to let your disability keep you from the wonderful world of Discworld - his books are available in audio format.

never read his books but I've got them penned in to read.

R.I.P

Not really lost them. Never really lost them.

Reach the book down from the shelf, open it..and there they all are again.

That's the thing. The Discworld is not gone. We are still here. And his daughter will continue writing novels, she grew up living it.
Not to mention all the wonderfull fan contributions we've been seeing.
He left us a legacy that will be part of us for decades to come.
Its not gone - its just resting for a while. As soon as you giggle at the thought of Rincewind with his hat that says 'Wizzzard' - its back.

(We just need to make sure they don't sell the rights to Disney)

All this nostalgia. Makes me want to read his stuff again. Anyone know where you can buy the complete Pratchett works as a set ?

I know, I know. But they're like history books now. And a few of them are signed copies too.

It used to be a guilty pleasure - that day when the latest book hit the shelves. Pretty much the rest of the day was written off.

Now, they all reside on my iPad :)

I saw a set at Exclusive Books a while back, should have bought it, didn't at the time because I do have the complete collection in various forms.
