That would be the old model, the new range does not have a 2.0T. The only 2.0T in the new range is the S3, ETA 3rd quarter 2013.
I wonder if this option will be available...

Oh you mean you want it to actually have the VW logo on?
I believe VW (in SA) recommends Castrol which is what you'll find inside the OEM-VW branded bottle. So all you do is look for the equivalent Castrol 504.00 oil if you want the exact same thing or get the Shell / Mobil / Whoever alternative.
VW don't make oil so based on regions you'll find different brands of oils in those bottles, but all with the same specification.

Yeah especially in modern cars the level can go from almost empty to completely full from hot to cold especially on VW & Audi's.
And overfilling with all is also very bad.
Ok enough about oil - let's hear more about the original topic, which is Test Driving the new A3!
I saw a Brand new Red 1.4TSI driving past in the parking lot on the weekend. It is quite striking. The front end is similar to the A5 and A6, so I think that is why people consider the new A3 to be too similar to the previous model. However, if you look at the previous model now, it is very different - rounded, blunt corners, droopy lights. The new one looks spiffy. The rear lights are thin and sleek, with horizontal LEDs for indicators and brake lights. Overall it looks more grown up and premium.
That said, I still don't know why so many people in SA order that stupid panoramic sunroof. Some dude in a new white A3 overtook me yesterday with his sunroof fully open. It was 37 degrees C outside and the sun was cooking my face even inside the car. Do South African's really like getting scalp cancer and being hot in traffic just so they can have a huge hole in their roof? Explain this to me please..

Yes, agreed! In short - don't. VAG cars are so bland and boring you're better of test driving a Landini or Massey-Ferguson

Lol. My wife's car has a panoramic sunroof. She normally drives with the glass closed but the interior cover thing open. I pretty much close it every time I get in the car. Only use has been when we are at a shopping center without undercover parking I leave the sunroof open on "tilt" to let some of the hot air out, and leave the interior thing mostly closed to minimise the greenhouse effect.
I understand what you are saying and I have been able to get the right oil etc etc, but it would be really nice if the bottle actually said its VW rating like this.

Pano Roofs are cool. Completely changes the perception of space in a vehicle. I use my sunroof at tilt (to avoid scalp cancer, but still allow fresh air to circulate without needing to open the windows)
as for 'verts..hmm.. Only one Im brave enough to drive around in public would be an Alfa Spider
