Dude, it was just meant as a joke. Gave up on this thread a long time ago

Woah. I see I'm being dragged back into this and slandered...
My car has xenon projectors, with autoleveling and headlight washers.
I know of cars with HID kits fitted into halogen housings THAT DO NOT emit excessive glare - and the kits have approval stamps by the way.
Now go read your email while you're driving, and I hope you hit a bridge instead of an innocent bystander.
Your hope that we crash is endearing.
Now answer my question please.
ZOMG IT'S ON THE INTERWEB IT MUST BE TRUER THAN MY EXPERIENCE!
Also, one of the links is from a company selling projectors. You don't think that PERHAPS they may be a LITTLE bit biased?
Nope, no intention of engaging with you any further, thanks. You've shown your disregard for road safety and law enforcement and as far as I'm concerned your accident will be no loss to society (apart, of course, from the costs involved in cleaning up the mess)
I am out of this thread. I can't believe people are so obtuse.
Thread: Texting while driving, this has to stop

Can you believe this ?
Then since that's what you wish on a fellow MyBB member IMHO your accident will amount to no more than the loss of a internet troll with an attitude?
It's all good, cos 'speed kills'. Not reckless 'tards. Hope you have the license plate and forwarded the pic to Motorite, because that's just a complete fail.
I see people on the phone / texting almost every day in town and it's a pretty common occurrence on TV too.
No, that that doesn't make it right - but this isn't exactly the start of "wide spread anarchy" or a crime wave either. :wtf:
Checking your phone while waiting in line at a red traffic light isn't causing hurt to anyone - nor does it have the potential to. How is it any different from a car that just stalled or ran out of gas while waiting at the light?
I'd love to hear some amazing stories from those claiming otherwise.
Worst that can happen is that the car behind the person checking his cellphone will hoot to get his attention should he forget to look up in time. Wasn't there a post about people hooting at the robot the millisecond it turns green scarcely a week ago?
However, I guess we should be understanding as some folks like Sinbad who's comparing the "checking of cellphones while waiting at a red robot" to theft, rape and murder might possibly have had a misguided religious background which claims all sins, big and small are equal.
PS. Before I get the Book thrown at me: It's actually a common misconception among believers, see this for more.
What about hijackings? If you're so engrossed in your phone at a red light, how will you react to a potentially dangerous situation? You won't have an inkling of what could be about to happen if you pay no attention to your surroundings.
Unpossible. if they're fitted to halogen housings, they are giving off glare. even if you adjust them downwards, in addition to the fact that the halogen housing scatters the light pattern.
Why else do you thing HIDs have bespoke projector housings? it certainly isn't to look pretty.
Yes, that is completely "unpossible"![]()
No, I have a bluetooth system fitted. If you want to use your phone while driving then you should bare the expense of having a handsfree system fitted. Using a cellphone while driving has been proven to increase the risk of accidents, there's absolutely no way to justify this.
