I think bdt needs to realise I am not going to let this drop and he might as well get this over with. Otherwise he is just going to look like the biggest doofus ever. For a very long time :)

LOL. Sorry chaps, but I have a problem with the OP's tactics and am not going to let it go until he mans up. If a dude is prepared to risk someones job because he appears to have a hidden agenda as well as is a complete hypocrite then he must take what comes his way.

Do you guys have jobs? With a large corporate? I somehow doubt it.....

Lets put it this way - the victim of bdt's little crusade didn't have the opportunity to fade into the background once the financial director of Motorite got to be aware of this being posted on a large forum. So why should bdt be allowed to slink into the shadows? And, as well, this whole thread was a tirade against texting and to some extent Motorite (by the OP), and he was offered an opportunity to discuss this with their senior management - and he then just stops posting here?

Nope, should be against the rules. ;)
 
I agree with you that bdt has no balls if he couldn't come back and give some feedback, but I'm not about to mount a crusade against him based on that. For a start, your crusade is totally pointless - it cannot affect bdt in at all, not even on here, and definitely not in real life, so why work yourself up about it?

And yes, I do have a job, and yes it's with a large corporate, and no, I have no idea how you managed to infer that I'm unemployed from what I posted. Quite frankly, your logic seems a little shaky...

I'm not working myself up about it sweets. I am, however, getting a rather malicious enjoyment out of highlighting the apparent lack of spine of the OP by having a little crusade against the original crusader. And if it doesn't affect him, why the need to defend him? Or is it my welfare you are concerned about? Or is my logic shaky again? :)

Thanks man. Your permission was what I was searching for. But what part of the post #422 and the rest of the unquoted part of your post #427 do you not interpret as you defending him?

But as for the futility of my crusade, I must point out to you that you yourself have just said that bdt lacks gonads - I would say that satisfies at least part of my KRA's with my little crusade ;)

To answer your question, in those two posts, there is nothing at all that defends bdt. If you read me defending bdt into those posts, your comprehension is as flawed as your logic. But I'm beginning to think I should have realised that ages ago, and so I will be taking my own advice and moving along.

Asking if I have a life is not meant to be interpreted as a jibe? Said jibe not being in defence of the OP? So yes, I am serious, and I think you are wasting your time trying to defend your stance. So moving on is about the only thing I agree with you on.

But I leave you with me highlighting something you ignored with your, once again, selective quoting:

Agree with the above comments. Considering that OP is busy all over MyBB it would not require much to post an update or an apology in the original post and also remove the pictures. I raised the point early on that I see it unfair and unnecessary to mark one person just because she is driving in a branded company car.

I think anyone working for a corporate (and driving a branded vehicle) would appreciate the crap coming from HR when someone stumbles across your pictures texting in a company car. I guess the lack of bdt's response means there is more to the story and hopefully he got some payback for such an unnecessary post.

Any corporate receiving complaints about their staff texting while driving would conduct a disciplinary hearing. This would go up and down management structures and flow across departments. Certainly an unpleasant experience for the employee. If bdt was such a good law-abiding citizen, then he should really take pictures of everyone and report them - just to be fair.

If the driver was in an unmarked car this would have not been an issue. So my point is: Why single out someone texting in a branded vehicle and once the poo-poo hits the fan ignoring it. Sounds like trolling to me...

What is it you want to achieve? Prove that he is a hypocrite? :rolleyes: As if you can not be blamed of the exact same thing. So you are in all likelihood also a hypocrite. And you think you're doing us a service here? You dont even see it do you? So the OP did something and called out someone else for texting while driving. You know what you are doing? The irony is not thick - it's exactly my intent? I am giving the OP a taste of his own medicine as well as trying to find out what the end story actually was? But please, bring it on -I love a robust debate :)

Actually no, I do not believe bdt is laying low because of the above reason. I have 2 possible scenarios for the gonad-less silence:

- after all the OP's preaching and bashing of the texter and Motorite, he didn't "have the balls" to actually phone the FD
- he did phone and the FD humbly apologised and informed him that the texter had been disciplined in whatever form the OP does not want to divulge to us.

Of course, it's as speculative as your scenario - the simple solution is for the OP to tell us.

Subsequently he does not want to look like an idiot?

Sigh... regardless of whether its your intent or not, the irony is still there...

Anyway, so you want to give him his own medicine? What exactly did the OP do that is so bad? Last time I checked reporting potentially dangerous driving habits to the company that owns the vehicle is a good thing. Sure, maybe doing it this publicly wasnt the best idea, but the OP claimed to have not been able to find alternative avenues to lodge his complaint. Or are you going after the OP for hypocrisy (which you are also guilty of in this very thread, and undoubtedly at several points in your life as well)? What exactly is it that warrants your behaviour?
