Ok, ok - after 5 MMS's re Happy New Year from VC, I think I got the message. Enough now!!

But we really, really want you to have a happy new year!....:o

I got it twice, btw....

(PS. Do you still have the 5 MMS's? I'd be interested in the times you got them?)

No unfortunately deleted them - I received one on Saturday, 2 yesterday and 2 just now.

They all from the same number which I can't remember now. Saturday's was the best as it did not feature the flea infested rat - only the countdown and fireworks.

....anyway - tell them I am not going to port so they need'nt send me another one!! ;)

 I haven't received a single MMS - what does this mean...? :(

Is there something I need to do to receive MMSes on the JasJar?

Maybe you are not important enough. JJ

Anyway, i recieved it a few times, but only downloaded it once, thank you sony for allowing me to choose whether or not to download this crap, for all i care ima disable my mms totally

What annoys me is the fact that they give you the Opt Out number to stop receiving it, but I never asked to receive it in the first place!

Only 5 heppiee! MMSes? I got 7 SMSes from Leaf Wireless validating my member services registration, all on the same day......3 days after I tried to register online.

And then chuck that in the bin and get a Sony...:D

I like the way you think.

I requested the virgin mobile mms settings the other day, and they sent it to me about 9 times, at very bad times of the day and night

I took the liberyto unsubscribe you a while ago! :D (Jusy kidding)

Have you sent an MMS from the SIM before? (you need to send one from the phone to 'activate' the service)

And can you receive an MMS? (I've just sent you one; 5:16)

The imates (and other PDA's) are notorious for having finicky MMS setups.

I don't think you have the MSISDN for the JasJar - I haven't tried sending an MMS yet from the JasJar - I haven't even tried vlive yet :o - would like to see what all the fuss is about, BTW *111# doesn't have any device setup settings available for any of the i-Mates...

Other than that there is a missed call voicemail sms according to the E220 from *6608 - not sure whose number that is, my other phone with the ported 084 isn't MMS capable...

Also, the E220's 4U contract bolt-on bundle was activated overnight :).

You can download the cab files with the setting from imate.com. Your JasJar might not have them pre-installed.

Otherwise, follow the instructions in the TyTN thread. Else, give me a shout and I'll talk you through it.

You must first send an MMS before it'll all come alive.

It seems to me that you received the Voda New Year MMS is you are actually a Vodacom SP subscriber. We have 3 phones, 1 with Voda SP and 2 with Autopage, and only received the MMS with the VodaSP phone.

Then again, I don't have much trust in Autopage, so maybe they botched the whole process somehow... :-)

I think you're right, only went out to VSP customers.
