Thanks for the conference

I would like to thank the MyBroadband members who supported this year’s conference, and to Cara for putting the event together. This year’s conference was certainly the biggest and best yet with speakers from all the major players.

It was really great to meet some of the new guys and catch up with a few ‘old faces’. It was particular pleasant to have a strong ‘mod’ contingency and have drinks with the usual suspects after the event: Neology, JAWUG and the like (some guys may well still be there now ).

Thanks as well to Neology and Vodacom for making the line audio streaming possible.

Thanks to RPM and Cara for a well organised and run event. Unfortunately I could only stay until lunchtime due to another commitment but enjoyed the the morning portion. I also caught the last session via the audio streaming.

I will add that I personally find formal presentations more informative than the panel discussions although some good information did come out of the two panel discussions I heard.

I signed up to say thanks RPM and co. It was a great conference and I am sorry I did not go the years before, and registered to join the forum sooner.
