This morning at about 10am my phone/adsl service went dead. Reported fault. I suspected it was related to the wind howling and the arial cable literally running between tree branches for about 200m.

Got a call an hour ago asking if everything was ok and it was. My hunch was correct and at the same time they also replaced a piece of buried cable which I noticed about a 100m down the road from me.

So I was without service for a few hours but nice turnaround time. Also noticed less noise on the line for the voice service.
