Still I am happy as a sun of a gun. But the people caught on to the tower. My brother-in-law said: "Woah! Die Mxit is %&^* vinnig ou!" - Had a good laugh.

There is a current, known bug with some modems (including UPA ones like the E272) that causes sporadic very low upload speeds. Can go as low as 20kb/s. It's not possible to fix it on the modem so the guys are writing a fix that will be implemented on the network side.

If you do see very low uplink, it will normally clear by itself, but a disconnect / reconnect will probably sort it.

I've not really mentioned it before as it's one of those "once in a blue moon" situations and I did not want to upset the elders, women and children too much.

I am very close to the new tower and I was virtually the only one connected on it. It wont stay like this forever, but it is HSDPA and I am very happy.

EDIT: PS I managed 305 kbps upload once. I think that is probably the fastest I have ever seen any E220 do an upload.
