Smacks like a bit of PR from the club due to some fallout after the sale. No quotes from Ancelotti there. Some of his teammates are on record that he will be a big loss.

Then again nobody is going to come out and say we're glad to be shot of him. The fans chanting "don't sell him" speaks the loudest for me.

Anyway can't wait to seem him play for us. I hope this is a trend and not a once off from the club.

Lewandowski 'agrees' pre-contract with Bayern - report

Robert Lewandowski appears to be on the brink of signing a pre-contract with Bayern Munich, with German newspaper Bild reporting he has agreed terms on a five-year deal with the European champions.

Lewandowski, 25, is out of contract at the end of June, with Borussia Dortmund choosing to keep the player and lose him for free at the end of his deal rather than sell him to Bayern last summer.

It was clear Lewandowski was off to Bayern at some point regardless of what happened at Dortmund :/

They were obviously prepared to take the risk. Lewandowski scored 11 in 16 in the bundesliga so he is still contributing pretty decently.
