Given the way the rules have screwed SA over the years (and in one instance we used the rules to screw ourselves over) I honestly wouldn't give a hoot how we got the trophy in the euphoria of the win. However in later years you might look back and wonder if that was really the right way to win....?Question.
For those that favored NZ to win, would you still be up in arms about how the winner was chosen if NZ had won in the exactly the same way that Eng did?
In fact if SA tied with Eng in the final, and eventually won on a stupid rule, what would be the percentage of complaints from SA supporters.
In terms of the World Cup would have preferred NZ mainly because the whole "Big 3" thing pisses me off royally but am not that fussed that England won. I think a far better way of awarding it would be top position from the league stages which would have seen England getting the cup too so not too fussed. I did enjoy this pic though...
