Monday morning weigh in: 105.8kg

I got on the scale a bunch of times to confirm.

Need to do something, my new meds are making me lose a lot more weight than I wanted.
After dinner and lots of water I am at 74.9kg, 500g lost but this morning after all the morning things was 72.58kg

@Jakkels1991 what are you doing to lose weight?

I see we are the heavies - I am gyming now, but my weight is not dropping.

Howzit bud, I am doing pretty intense fasting and gyming. I fast from Sunday evening to Wednesday evening. (So I only eat twice a week). On Wednesday and Thursday I would lift heavy at the gym and the rest of the days just steady state cardio.

Fasting has become a pretty big part of my life, not only for weight loss but a whole slew of other health benefits. My gout is gone as in completely, I also no longer get heart burn and use to battle with like mild IBS that too has complete healed.

My issue with fasting is malnutrition - how do you ensure you get enough protein and stuff?

I can see how it would benefit gout (you are physically taking in less food, so less uric acid production)

I don't think malnutrition is an issue when you clocking three digits on the scale, well at least not for the couple of months that you need to drop the weight. As for what I eat on re-feed days: I eat keto as far as possible and those meal mostly consist of meat.

There is so much info out there on fasting and how crazy good our bodies are at working when we are fasted. We have been brainwashed into believing in all this k@k about eating 6 times a day.

Haha yeah i have been doing it for 3 months now and I haven't died yet so... Also I will die of old age before I die of malnutrition....

edit: If you want to get clued up on the fasting, check out Dr Jason Fung. Then check out my mentor Cole (Snake Diet on youtube) note headphones needed when listing to this guy...

It took me 2 weeks to drop 2kgs since I started this year, buy pretending I'm doing keto, yet still eating some carbs that I shouldn't...and not watching my macros.

Then last week I went away for work and stayed in a motel type place that had a little kitchen in it. So I wasnt tempted by hotel food or anything. I only ate once a day when I got home at night from work, drank tons of water...and the stuff I made for dinner was well within my keto limits.

After 8 days of this and working non stop I lost 6kgs and I don't really feel hungry. So I think the absolute hardest thing to weight loss happens in the kitchen. More often than not we eat out of boredom, so now I've even cut out the mixed nuts I snack on. It's coffee and water until dinner. Will see how it goes...

This is my problem. Weightloss is easy, eat less than you burn.

Problem is I consume a KG spekkeld eggs like it's fcking chrismas.

Gluttony you pig you whore.

:crying:

On a side note. I have a kid who loves that stuff. Where you get the packets? Guessing it's cheaper.

Maybe you should freeze portions and take out as and when you feel a craving. Well help with portion control and the wait for it to thaw might help as well.

A great friend of mine does this and health foods wholesale to the shops.
Attached is the product list

(Tell her, Thor send you - you might score some additional discount.)

Thor, do yourself a favour and put labels on all your non-healthy foods. All the label has to say is what the calorie equivalent of that food would be in terms of exercise.

1x mini mars bar? = 30mins jog.
250g speckled eggs? = 1000 pushups (not accurate, but an example)

Then actually go out and do a 30min jog and try 50 pushups...after that you won't look at sweets the same way.
