The Anni Dewani Murder Case

Lolwut?

All seems a bit strange to me. Especially how the widower won't go into any details from 'fear of crying'.

I doubt that the SA police interviewers have the necessary skills, but in some countries they bring in an expert to question suspects and witnesses and these experts look at particular body languge, the use of words, what is said and what is unsaid.

It all makes for a very interesting science.

According to reports it closes around that time, which means that it might still have been open for a while.

I don't believe that the distance from the cop shop is an issue, after all these guys sometimes raid the cop shops and steal their weapons.

Actually according to reports Mzoli closes at 19h00 .

The couple are believed to have been heading to township tourist hotspot Mzoli’s Meat in Gugulethu at about 23:00 on Saturday night.

But an employee of Mzoli's told News24 that they close at 19:00 every day.

19h00 does sound a little early for a restaurant, so someone is talking crap somewhere.

was their intention to hijack a car or to rob and rape and kill someone that night? maybe they wanted to hijack a car and thats why they tossed the people out but because she was a hottie that decided to rape her then kill her but whatever their motive it was pretty risky doing either one of those things as 2 people were thrown out a vehicle and could have reported it in a matter of minutes and people would have seen something going on inside the car had someone passed by.

What a tragedy. Getting brainwashed by liberal media in Sweden until you win a Darwin award. A taste of 'real Africa'.

Swedish citizen, born in Uganda of Asian descent.... hubby was British millionaire.
I must admit, I have reservations about going on any cultural tours to Soweto, Gugulethu, Mdantsane or any previously disadvantaged area. Still way too far behind on the development scale to be safe. Having said that, this could have happened on a deserted Main road in the morning.

Anni, a Swedish citizen of Ugandan-Asian descent, and her husband Shrien Dewani, a millionaire British businessman, were on honeymoon in South Africa when they asked their driver to show them Gugulethu township, near Cape Town

The couple - named in reports as Shrien and Anni Dewani - had been married just two weeks.

Their people carrier was reportedly held up by two gunmen in Gugulethu township outside Cape Town, late on Saturday.

The 28-year-old’s body was later found slumped in the back seat by police, after her 31-year-old husband was released unharmed in another township.

‘It seems they lost their way a bit and were then confronted by these hijackers who stopped the car and ordered the driver out. They then drove off with the couple inside,’ said provincial tourism minister Alan Winde.
Police arent' ruling out the driver's involvement I hope.

I would imagine a larnie hotel's shuttle bus would have a good tracking system. I wonder why the driver didn't notify the police as soon as possible. From what I've read the police were only notified when the husband managed to flag down a car driving past which took him to a police station.

The shuttle was not provided by the hotel. They did not organize any of their transport.

I think he used a racist remark if I remember correctly.
He's known for that... didn't see the post though.
Mean while the husband has managed to find his voice,
The British tourist whose wife was murdered by armed hijackers on their honeymoon said last night: “They told me they wouldn’t hurt her”.

Speaking publicly for the first time, Shrien Dewani told the Mail how he pleaded with their kidnappers not to separate him from his wife, Anni, 28.

Western Cape police are hunting for a man involved in the fatal attack on a British honeymoon couple, after a fingerprint was lifted from their car.

Shrien and Anni Dewani were hijacked in Gugulethu on Saturday night by two armed men who forced their driver out of the vehicle. They were en route to an eatery popular with tourists.

Shrien was released but his wife was murdered.

Community Safety MEC Albert Fritz said he is confident they are looking for the right person

Speaking publicly for the first time, Shrien Dewani told the Mail how he pleaded with their kidnappers not to separate him from his wife, Anni, 28.
But he said they put a gun in his ear and pushed him out of the moving taxi. As he sprawled by the roadside in a Cape Town slum, they drove her into the night.
Just hours later her body was found inside the abandoned taxi. She had been shot at least three times in the chest, and a post-mortem examination could confirm fears she was also sexually assaulted.

Sorry if this sounds a bit crass but I'm assuming the only way that they would be determine if there was sexual assault vs. honeymoon shena****ns would be if more than one trace of semen was found?

They can do DNA analysis and determine exactly who was involved. Hubby and / or others. Assuming that they can get the tests out in less than 5 years.

if she was sexually assaulted , it is not too difficult to tell the difference between this and normal sex.
