Its not about playing nice or insulting other people...
Have a look through this forum and you will see that every 2nd thread has been hijacked by someone who "hates" the apple brand, yet they have mostly never used, owned or tried one....
As with any good company Apple has created a loyal following of clients who will advocate the brand to anyone who is in the market for a device.... Thats just good business.... I have had apple products for about 3 years now and i have in that time had my iPhone 3G stall once and that was due to a cydia app that was corrupt. Other than that i have not had 1 blue screen of death, i file that mysteriously became corrupt, any files infected by viruses etc....
Most of us are Apple fans because a couple of things is important to us... Stability, reliability and user friendly interface that is on the leading edge of technology (notice i said leading edge not bleeding edge).... Apple have not always invested the wheel, what they have done is re-invent it to allow it to be more mainstream and practical in and efficient manner....
I am an avid consumer and i buy alot of electronics, appliances, car, clothing etc and i am most definitely NOT someone who only buys certain brands. I will not only buy LG or Samsung applicance, whichever gives me the best deal with the features i need, will get my cash, the fact that i am so loyal to Apple is merely because no other cellphone offers me what i want from a phone at present.
Nokia S60, Android and Blackberry are all good operating systems, the problem with all of the is that they do not offer everything i need... Apple does, from a computing and mobile device point of view they tick all the boxes i need.
Sure there are a couple of things i would like, but those are nice to haves, the critical and important bits are all packed into my apple products...
