So, England need to:

1. Get rid of BOTH openers. They're not cutting the mustard at International level. One has a massively suspect technique (yes, he scored 10000 FC runs in an average FC competition), the other isn't good enough at FC or Test level looking at his averages.
2. Get rid of Malan...not a Test player. But they may hold onto him as the best of the rest.
3. Get rid of Pope...not a Test player judging by that average.

Bring back Crawley & Sibley (if he's in the team); bring back a spinner; look at getting Wood into the team; look at Bairstow as an option.

This England team have immensely big issues they need to fix in the next couple of days before the 3rd test.

Malan and Root are all that is holding the batting together.
Crawley and Sibbers would have been good in hindsight but Sibbers stayed in England to work on technique. And Crawley was as much a walking wicket as all these other guys in his last series.
