I can’t believe that they dropped Sibbers. As far as I'm concerned, the lower your opening batsman's strike rate, the better. To me, a beautiful cover drive is just a poorly-executed forward defensive.

What a shocking dismissal from burns. Leaving your leg stump exposed like that first ball of the series.

England 147 all out and Cummins with a fifer. Not the start they would have wanted.

Interested to see if Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne are going to pile on the runs.

Root and nasser can commiserate about bad decisions at the toss at gabba tests.

That was dire batting from England.

This is going to be a hiding. And Leach looks like he might have as forgettable a tour as Moeen Ali in the last Ashes down under. Feel for the spinners.

And Warner and Green out as soon as I posted. Looks like I have jinxy powers this match.

Leach going at 8.6 an over. Spin graveyard.

Travis Head is playing an ODI 81(66)

Why has Stokes only bowled 7 overs out of the 70+? Is he carrying a niggle? That could be bad news for England for the rest of the series were he to be ruled out.

It's his first game in a couple of month, maybe not match fit.

Possible. He seemed to be in some discomfort while bowling though. Seemed to be pulling up quickly in his follow through. English management will be sweating bullets...

Stokes even before his break didn't bowl loads. He is a batting all-rounder these days. Only really puts in big spells in very desperate times.
