Look MacGill wasn't the best, but he was loads better than the bowlers they've tried in recent times.

The Aussies are either making remarkably informed decisions about Beer or they're starting to show their desperation.

Question, has Hauritz gone completely out of favour or is he injured?

MacGill was very good he just happen to play in the same timeframe as SK Warne. Since only one could play warne pretty much always got the nod.

Hauritz is poor, maybe slightly better then doherty but certainly not a good spinner.
 
Yeah, MacGill was pretty unlucky to be around in Warnie's time. He wasn't a bad bowler at all and at his peak, he would have made it into most international teams, if not all.

MacGill had a better strike rate than Warne and was the only one to displace Warne from a Test team on form alone.

That said, even an unfit Warne would still take wickets.
 
England won the toss and elected to field. So far it has turned out to be a great decision!

I'm very happy with my boys performance (yet again) this morning. Even though England bowled well I believe that poor shot selection led to the cons poor first innings total.
 
English setting the pace of game and Aussies continue to look all at sea :D
 
Wonderful bowling by Johnson, he's brought Aus right back in it.
 
Can't get to see it on telly. Is it a seamers track? The poms will do well to get close.
