Yeah, it's a dead horse right now. Costs me more in electricity a day to mine than I make.
Is there anywhere else to mine that might be worthwhile? e.g. a dedicated coin pool for one of the X11 coins that might be on the up? Looks like Dash is the only one really performing... and that difficulty makes it look like a BTC wannabe.

Cannabis coin is consistent in top group...if speculating on lower value coin with potential to increase with lower difficulty check prime xi or creamcoin
 
Has anyone heard of lmsglobal.co.za. Its an Online Store based in Cape Town. I came across them while I was searching for a S9 antminer on Facebook and I see they are having a black Friday special for the S9 @R40k (not sure if PSU is included) advertised on Facebook.

When are they available? If its Jan then buying from Bitmain is cheaper at $1400. If psu included in 40k then slightly better but a black Friday price should have been 35k max with Psu

The ad says 15th Jan delivery date. After reading the comments on Bitmains page regarding their service and how they handle queries. Im a bit on the fence for ordering from them direct. I rather pay the little extra and not worry about getting my miner without a PSU etc.

I was browsing the website and all of the ads says (inc PSU) the order for 15th Jan also says incl PSU but the normal price is R49k. Im assuming the special will go live tomorrow. I will have a look and decide if I should grab one. The comments on the site and product reviews seem like they provide good service, but other than that I cant find much about them

More lower cost, higher hashrate miners hitting the streets in batches...
Though at 16TH/s it's not particularly higher. - that's only 2.5 more than an S9 which you can order today.
 
So the wife is pushing for that extra ASIC. Do I just go for the S9 and get it done with? The L3+ is doing very well, but reckon it'll be good to spread the risk a bit, and not 100% sure about that Baikal...

Is there a limit on how many miners you can import into SA from bitmain per year?

There is if you do it as an individual and you don't want SARS breathing down your neck. Just go to SARS and register as an importer - customs clearance will be quicker too.

Anyone ever use FEDEX for the shipping from Bitmain? I see they are quite a bit cheaper than the others. Any tips and tricks I can use to streamline the process? Busy slapping together my S9 order. It's crazy how much the local mark-up is!!!
