The Asic thread

Ive added an additional low power 220v fan to my cupboard where the Asics sit and they run 2-3 degrees cooler already. The power supplies were the main issue since their warm air was being circulated and pulled in via the intake eventually. I'll post proper pics when I'm home again

The four intakes all come together in the middle, I'm now just going to add a Louvre vent so that the doors can all stay closed.

I thought you only had 2 L3's?

Anyone else with a L3 notice a slower average hashrate? All of mine average at the 480 rate?

Same hashrate, but profitability has been slowly on the increase... at least on Prohashing, up about $2/day over the last two days.

Go see for us please
Cool. Got some stuff Saturday morning, but if you guys can arrange with the dude that I'll pop around, I don't mind.

Might even be able to do it tomorrow afternoon after work if he's cool with it.

Sort it @mielie

Those are neat though they taper a little - assuming to make them fit 120mm ducting. I've seen a few for sale on olx / gumtree. I think I am currently using 150mm ducting.
I can make them whatever size you need....

Competition for the S9:

I wonder what the price is like...

When they had their whole launch price for 5 units in Nov last year they where about $1800 each, but that was before bitmain hiked their prices. I suspect they'll be in the $2600 each range. There's a little scepticism around them tho since no one who supposedly has the dev models is talking about them. Some say its due to NDA's but why would you need an NDA? Its not like its brand new tech.

March is when the first units are supposed to be delivered so we will see what happens then.

I almost went in with a couple of other guys to buy 5 so I could get two of them since the price was not bad for 14.5TH machines, but now I'm kinda relieved I rather went with the S9's even tho they're only 13.5TH.

Speaking of which, my second S9 arrives tomorrow :D. One more left in the mail, hopefully not long now. Delivery for these units was only supposed to be at the end of Jan beginning of Feb so I'm happy that its early.

Might be litecoinpool then, use to get 0.21 per day now only 0.19

My highest per 24 hour period is 0.0660

^^^ This. I don't see it ever getting back to where it was when everyone lost their ****, but it'll pick up.
Segwit 2_plus Dash price increase... Its possible but I would be over the moon with 30 to 60 dollars on a D3 a day

Crazy. I think I must change to 150mm . I am using 200mm. Please post pick of where you join Miner to tubing. I am not getting the temp drops was expecting. Still running hot even with aircon above units
