The Asic thread

Crazy. I think I must change to 150mm . I am using 200mm. Please post pick of where you join Miner to tubing. I am not getting the temp drops was expecting. Still running hot even with aircon above units

Looks like you're circulating hot air from the rest of the equipment - rigs and power supplies... the asics are pulling that air in to cool their chips.

Nice setup, are you not maybe getting heat from the GPU rigs into the miners? I know mine has a lot of heat coming off the top.

Will have to find that out, but I reckon probably in the next week or two. The guy already sourced the units, likely 20 available for which we will have preference to.

Hey. So profitability wise at current rate is nicehash $480 a day. But compared to cryptocompare its roughly $118

That's ominous. It really shouldn't be. Nicehash should be similar to all other calculators, even if a bit higher.

*EDIT* This is what I get on whattomine:

ok so the return of $480 seems reasonable then. That would make ROI in under a month if you brought a baikal giant b at R168000

Basically the only ones making huge profits are the manufacturers.

In a gold rush they only people making money are the ones selling the spades. If D3 taught anything its buy a miner thats consistent over hype figures

True, took a long while to decide to purchase a L3, when I saw it was actually making money decided to get more.

Now looking for either another L3 or S9, just local prices are just plain stupid.

It's that or the Innosilicon A4 LTC master, though they are also a little pricey

Sure, they just slapped together two machines, but still pretty cool.

Was on their site just now and didn't even see that lol..

Looking at the figures that's exactly what they did. Two units for $100 less.

The min order is still ridiculous. 50 units at $6300 might hurt the bank a little.

I have someone putting an order together that you can sneak into if you want.
