Watched the video, but there really was no need for it, you can just look at the picture and see who the winner is. That Mercedes not only looks better and has the word wagon in it's name, it has loads more class. (hint : that is also in the name).

I'm a bit confused, in the video the Audi won, but the way you phrase your comment above, you make it sound like the Merc did?

Styling is subjective. The Audi is cheaper, quicker and better suited to European weather conditions. Those are indisputable facts.

Personally I find Merc totally over rated. Brute power without the drivetrain to manage it. Drove a C32AMG some years back and I actually battled to drive it without the traction control constantly engaging. Mercedes motor plan at the time wasn't comprehensive either. There was a cost to servicing that increased incrementally over time! The auto box and build quality was sub standard too. This was around 2005 mind you.
