Check out this "great" deal from the Hatfield Group... A4 1.8T 125KW Multi Sport Edition for only R500K!

Now from what I've found online this edition gives you the following:

• 19" Audi Sport alloy rims and S line sport suspension
• Black styling elements for the grille, window surrounds, side-sills and side-mirrors

• S line exterior badging
• Three-spoke multi-function sport steering wheel
• Front and rear park assist

So at the end of the day you pay R500K for:
• A model that is nearly discontinued
• Some sporty bits with no resultant increase in power

Is this a sucker's deal or not?

Helping them get rid of the last of the B8s before the B9s land.

Though a B9 to this spec will probably cost R100k more.

These will be rare too... ;)

From the Wheels24 article in August:
""The package is offered at only R8250 to the customer on the A4 1.8T FSI SE and 2.0 TDI 130kW SE.""

I know the Rand has gone to **** since then, but the price of R500K still smacks of profiteering, even taking into account the other additions (Freeway plan extension, sunroof etc)
 
Quick question.

On my A4 B8 3.0TDi, i see that the tyre pressure is recommended as 2,8 bar front and 2,5 bar rear.
Got 235/40R18 tyres on.

Is pressure correct? Seems high.

3 door A3 2010 1.8T, 225 45 R17's, label on my door says for one person it's 2.5 bar in front, 2.1 at the back.

I finally called Palm Tyres where I bought my ZE912 Falkens to ask if that is correct. They said 2.5 is too high and to make it 2.2 all around, front and back. 2.3 if under load.

Would this difference be because my A3 came with Pirellis out of the factory (is that the norm)?

So if 2.5 was too much and I've been inflating to that pressure for 5 months now, will running it at 2.2bar as Palm Tyres recommends rectify over time any excessive wear down the centre line? Not that I've looked to see if there is any, I'm assuming there is some.
 
Fck, it's a beaut!!! If money was no object, this would definitely be in the garage! Vehicle for all occasions!
