Labour incl?
Add R300 for labour.

Anyway, turns out the lamp does not need replacing. Car is booked in for 23 Jan so they can dig deeper to see why the right is failing. They reckon if it's the controller, I could be in for about R15k. FML.

Good Lord.

And here I thought paying R120 for my normal 55W Halogen bulb through Hyundai was expensive :crylaugh:

Samsung will supply Exynos chipsets for Audi's infotainment system

Samsung Electronics and Audi announced that Exynos chipsets will power Audi’s next-generation In Vehicle Infotainment system. This is part of Audi’s Progressive SemiConductor Program (PSCP) that began in 2010 with the mission to bring cutting edge tech to the company’s vehicles.

The top Exynos chip can run up to four different displays in the car at once and supports several operating systems for Audi to choose from. It’s not yet clear when Exynos will land in cars.

At CES 2016, Audi showed off a concept interior for the A8, which sported Samsung-made OLED displays: a 14.1” OLED for the dash, another 14.1” screen for the center console and an 8.4” OLED touchscreen for the air conditioner.

Samsung made a bid to acquire Harman, a major supplier car infotainment systems that works with Audi and other makers. That would allow Samsung to sell a complete infotainment package, but the deal may be in jeopardy.

Despite not being impressed by the oil consumption problem for certain engine models between 2009 and 2011, i find myself eyeing A3's to replace my 2011 A3... the prices though are pretty sobering though, even for 2 year olds

So today the Audi dealer was adamant that the tyre, dent and other insurance add ons for close to 10000 from the dealership group were compulsory for the finance to get approved.

A simple call to VWFS confirmed that it obviously wasn't...

I'm still expecting his answer, but if it's not sorted by tomorrow, I'll go to another dealership !

That's scaly, I'd go to another dealership and report that branch to head office.

Still want that specific car but I give them until tomorrow mid day, I have a second option otherwise.

I'll name and shame tomorrow after it's signed or not.

Definitely won't do my services there though.

So back to the market anyway, funding refused because of my visa (even with a hefty deposit).

I saw and heard it yesterday as well. I was a bit disappointed In the selection of cars they had there, but this was definitely one of my favourites.

R10,300 to fix my driver's side headlight. Sigh...

Few months back - R6k to fix gearbox, after an R11k gearbox service 3 weeks prior to the failure.

Service 2 weeks back, R6.5k.

Starting to get very expensive to drive this car.
