I did but i didn't put much effort into it... because the company that painted the building were quite willing to foot the bill for professional cleaning, but work and life have been hectic for a long time and I found it difficult to go and get a quote done until about 3 months back.

I will try the nail again but am fairly certain I'll probably need to get the tar remover to soften the paint.

My cab has the AMI and B&O kit. Serves me fine with the iPod hooked up. Kids wanted bluetooth and aux, which I don't have.
I have looked at adding it, but flipping expensive.
This thing is a bluetooth, charger, fm transmitter. It looks like a standard USB charger which I really like.

So basically got Bluetooth audio for my kids, and for cheap, without messing with the look of my car. Win win all round.
The quality is seriously good. My first xiaomi device and impressed.

So Bluetooth from phone to Xiaomi and then FM to car radio?

Much like the iTrip? I have one of those but the radio frequency is so scratchy while driving.

Maybe this thing has a stronger antenna to override outside radio frequencies.

Yes.
I was a bit skeptic at first having tried these BT to FM things before.

There are odd times the sound is a little scratchy which I think is interference. 99% of the time the sound is good though. Minor annoyance.

I’ve been strongly considering one of those firmware hacked head units that just adds it all and also offers Apple CarPlay.

Thanks, never found one of those that I'm even remotely happy with the sound quality, just BT on its own is borderline suspect audio quality and adding another fm hop to the mix is too much, never mind the interference just as your favourite song hits the chorus :crylaugh:

But if the solution works for you then that's all that matters.

That makes 2 of us, that is really beautiful, and a lot of car for that kind of money. Can you even get a new A4 for that kind of money?
