Cambelt on those cars is usually at 180,000km according to the manual but most mechanics just follow their own logic and replace it at 120,000km anyway.

Oh wait, it's the diesel. Not sure in that case.
Diesels also have valves and hence cambelts with similar wear characteristics. I have also heard cambelt every 60k is preferable on Vag vehicles, that can get a little pricey on some engines though but better than a stuffed motor.
