What do you guys think of the A5 3.0TDI? I haven't driven a diesel car, let alone an Audi.

I've been wanting to buy the A5 but the BMW 330d (e90) also tempted me.

Go 4 it, you would never look back! Your next Audi would also be a 3.0TDi.

I had A6 3.0TDi and now Q7, can't go back after this torque You can pull 2 caravans uphill, and dice some one and win

IYou say it's under warranty, then you have freeway plan roadside assistance. Call them and let them come out and take it from there.

What year/model is it?
 
Flashing CEL is a warning not to drive. Call the dealer and get them to fetch it.
 
Yea I left it at my mom and phoned them. Coming through tomorrow.

It is 2012 with 42,000km
 
I'll get it on Wednesday.

Was a misfire and running on 3 cylinders - but not a simple coil issue. He said he'll know more when he opens her up.

Those 2.0TFSI engine are generally bullet proof ; strange it went to early
 
I've had 2 coil packs go on my b7. Both times drove about 8kms home slowly and all was ok.
 
Gents, Can anyone recommend a good auto electrician in JHB north? My car is giving me k@k. Keeps going flat, had the battery checked twice and machine says it's fine.

Something must be draining the battery. Had an old tracker removed from the car which I thought was the culprit and actually sorted the issue for while strangely enough.

I'm thinking it's time to get rid of this vehicle.

I had the same issue with an old Audi of mine. Turns out it was the vacuum central locking pipe had a leak so the motor was running extended periods attempting to lock the doors...reconnected the pipe and voilà!

Hmm, I will see if I can hear anything, normally you can hear them run.
 
Very nice. S-line wheels if I'm not mistaken, as well as chrome window trim. Is it an S-line?

Not an S-line. 2012 A4 1.8T (TFSI) with executive package. 65000km on the clock. R190k. Condition is mint barring a bit of flaking on the grill but after chatting to Audi they have agreed to replace the grill.
 
I'm wondering how the 1.4t A3 goes. . . Anyone?

Audi Cape Town used one as a shuttle vehicle to take me home whilst my car was being serviced. Very zippy car, although not as spacious as my A4 it's more than adequate for most people. I'm actually quite a fan of the A3, looks like the RS3 is next on my list :D

Meh, GP plates must be riveted and I don't want to get plate holders. Double sided tape it is then :)
