Traded the S4 a year back ;)

A5 2.0T Quattro ... under plan, so not too concerned. Just an annoyance of having no car :/ In November my piston cracked

EDIT : Google reckons not super worrisome - could be sensors or dirty fuel lines. But I rather they tow it and get it checked out

Gees, luckily hey? When does that plan expire? Might want to consider an after market warranty if you going to keep the A5.

You've had your fair share of bad luck re reliability and Audis. You had an issue with the S4 too if memory serves? Hell man, bloody disappointing. No issues with your Volvo before that?

It's got just under a year left.

Was a friends very low mileage when he sold it to me (32,000km / 3 years or something) that he bought from new. I've got 47,000km now.

I'll probably go spend the R40,000 before it expires for another 2 years - but I change my mind every 6 months when it comes to cars anyhow. So we'll see

The S4 was manual gearbox and synchros ; two dealerships said I just being pedantic and they could hardly feel anything, but they changed it anyway. The clutch they gave issues because it's a wear and tear item.

Then this Audi was the piston 4 months back and now this.

My orange C30 bust a power steering pipe day one (bought it demo - 9,000km!) - but was fine there after.

My blue one cracked the control arm and developed an oil leak after 60,000km

The car I had no issues with at all, was my Toyota RunX RSI :)

We have the same model :) I dont have the RS rims, have the rims with the Y shape where it meets the tyre. I was wondering what your fuel economy is like?

Nice!

I got 6.9l/100km to DBN (with a blast to 225km/h which probably cost me 0.1l/100km ... hehe) and 'normal' traffic around 11/100km. The traffic like I've had the last few weeks sends me to 12-13l/100km.

You?

She's a beaut though... Extras?

Sport Suspension
S Line in / out
B&O Sound
Panaramic
Audi Music Interface
19" wheels

I think that was it :)

The S4 was a great car and the only issue was the clutch/synchro which was a small issues and almost expected if you drove the car. It was quick and fun to drive - easy kept ahead of a a new F30 BMW 335i 8 speed auto in it ... stock and manual. The thing that really drove me to sell was the traffic - there's a stretch that I'm doing 40 minutes / 3km gridlock and it burns the clutch, no matter how nicely you do it.

I'm also getting just over 10l/100km in light to normal traffic no long runs YET! I tought it was very thirsty then noticed posts all over the net saying Audi was very optimistic in their official stats.

I was extremely impressed with the 6.9l/100km to DBN

I think the Quattro may be a little thirstier than front wheel. It's heavier and puts out another 70nm torque

Does the quattro come standard with sport suspension? Or is there a easy way to tell? I noticed the ride is stiff but would like to confirm.

I also have the B&O sound & panoramic roof with the little fins on the sides below the doors. I'm contemplating a boot 'lip' spoiler.

I gave my VIN and they gave me all the options that were ordered.

What are the fins ?

Oh I have front and rear PDC and cruise control. What's the difference between cruise control and adaptive? Laser out the grill?

The Adaptive Cruise Control is the one where the car uses radar to keep a set distance even in traffic it will come to a complete stop and pull away again. If you haven't seen it watch a video about it it's awesome!
