So who's going? Who's going to wait until it's available on the high seas? Haven't decided yet myself...

Will do watch it on Imax with my daughter. It's great having a family member enjoy these things as much as me. Cannot wait till my lad is at an appropriate age to join us :)

I think I should go too. I haven't been to see a movie since Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it might be a good idea to go see this.

You think I'd have to have seen Black Panther before watching this?
Nah. Not a preriquisite but it looks like a few characters from that movie will appear in Infinity. The last Avengers was kark hope this one lives up to the billing. Not sure how they made so much money off the last one.

Wow. What an art piece . My heart raced throughout the whole film. It just amazes me how someone can draw so many ties from other movies and smash it it all up in incredible event. Marvel is quite incredible (and obviously credits to the comics). Pretty shocked at the deaths and the opening.. it was pretty much opposite to who I thought would die.

I didn't think I would enjoy this film as much as I did.

Damn, Thor was so epic. I really hope Marvel gets Hemsworth to sign on for some more films.

Also,
I felt like dusting Spider-man was a bad move considering that Tom Holland is signed for at least one more film.
Very strongly hints that the next Avengers film is going to undo the worst damage we saw in this film.

Yes and obviously
Black Panther was extremely successful at the box office and will have a sequel - he’s gone too. You can tell that the “dusting” will most likely be undone in some way.. I’m also quite sad about Loki. I also never saw Valkyrie and Korg which was quite upsetting...
so I guess let’s wait and see.

Yeah, forgot to mention Black Panther being in the same boat as Spider-man. No way those two aren't critical to the next phase of the MCU. If Marvel has their way, I'm sure they'd like Cumberbatch to also be a big part, and he was also dusted.

The dusting is probably the one aspect of the film I'm not mad about. Considering how much dead weight is being lugged about in the MCU, it was a perfect opportunity to really have half the crew killed off. Black Widow, Bucky, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Hawkeye, two of the Guardians (franchise can be laid to rest at this point), Vision, Hulk and Iron Man could all have died for real.

It feels like George Martin was also the script writer

The first movie in a while where the pace is so good and story so well worked out that you crave for more.

Edit. Yes. There is an end scene.

I watched Infinity War a second time this evening, this time at IMAX instead of Prestige. I really wish the film was slightly different towards the end:

Without needing to really change much, I feel like they could have made it way better. Instead of dusting characters like Black Panther and Spider-man, who we can assume with 100% certainty are going to be recovered in the next film, they could have done this:

- dust all the dead weight characters who we've seen enough of or whose actors are tired of Marvel stuff
- in that closing scene with Thanos, show his regular hand start dusting
- when he notices it happening, have him clench the gauntlet and send the gems flying in different directions across the galaxy before his entire body turns to dust

That way, Thanos almost gets some redemption for not exempting himself from the random 50% selection and totally wraps up the film as it's own story. No need to bring anyone back, the sense of the stakes being real doesn't go down the toilet, the heroes sort of win but there's a message that life isn't a simple case of winning and losing and the next Avengers film isn't a fetch quest but can instead deal with the ramifications of half of the planet's humans turning to dust.

So much more interesting imo, and it could have been a cool way to end this phase of the MCU.

Aaaaahhhhhh!!! What an epic film! It was worth every bit of the wait. I will be going to see it again, probably on IMAX for the second time, just for the crisp visuals

End scene was just there for the fans, rev them up by finally calling in
Captain Marvel and maybe the rest of infinity watch

The IMAX experience was great as always, cinema was as packed as black panther (100%).

The ending just said "thanos will return" which is just another way of saying "to be continued", really dislike those sort of endings when you have to wait a year for the continuation.

Obviously with the dusting of half the Avengers, they will undoubtedly undo much of that in the next movie.

Marvel knocked it out of the park. This movie is gonna do $2 Billion.
Thanos is a really good villain with a lot of depth. Way better than Ultron.
Oh and of course Dr. Strange went back and did something in the past with that one in a million scenario.
You know it. That's my only criticism, that all of that sad ending is gonna be undone.
