The Bafana Bafana Thread

Sorry to be the pessimist here, but something tells me Bafana Bafana is already celebrating like they’ve won the Afcon after winning 4-0. I’m going to sit this one out and call the 4-0 a fluke.
Where did you see all the celebrating like they have won the Afcon? Oh, never mind, I see "something tells you".

Namibia is far behind us in the rankings so I have no idea why beating them would be a fluke.

Why you going to pretend like Bafana Bafana is the best thing since sliced bread? we both know they think they’ve made history with this win now, we’ve seen this time and time again. So I’ll hold back, if they give Tunisia a thrashing then maybe, just maybe, we can reconsider whether its a fluke on not.

But do you understand how this work? South Africa is stronger than Namibia so they were expected to beat Namibia, Mali is stronger than SA so they were favourites to win. Yes exceptions do happen but that is generally how football works, Mali's win was no fluke the same way SA's win over Namibia is no fluke.

Tunisia is ranked higher than SA so it is not going to be an easy game, but we have beaten Morocco who are number 1 on our way to Ivory Coast so we can do the same with Tunisia.

I don’t know about that hey. We’ve seen SA lose against some really weak teams before. They lack consistency, regardless of the lineup.

We have also seen them win against really strong teams before, as I have said, they beat Morocco who are ranked first in the qualifiers.

We won, fair and square yesterday, we dominated Namibia, you can't want to take that away from the team by dismissing it as a fluke.

How would that Bafana match work? 18 February is not a FIFA match day and I can't see clubs agreeing to release players.
I don’t know. It might be fake news. It’s from my Hamas WhatsApp group.

Relax, I have a Zionist WhatsApp group too.

By your own assessment it confirms that its a fluke. Namibia won Tunisia yet they lost to SA, LOL, SA lost to Mali and Mali drew with Tunisia. If anything its just whole lot of fluke-ish soccer. Mali is the only team that shows above average results. If SA wins Tunisia tomorrow I'll withdraw my statement that it was a fluke.

Not true, if we don't lose we qualify. If Namibia lose we qualify unless we lose by 6 goals. For once it's pretty straight forward

The SuperSport commentator who keeps on referring to Tau as Parcy annoys the ****out of me, are the Nigerians ever going to get this right?

Congrats on making it to the round of 16 I guess. Boring game, sitting back defending, trying to draw. I don't like that negative style.
