Watch PnP specials. Grabbed 8 @R55 during the last special. On the RMR crackers, thick slices of kerrygold taste just like smooth cheese -fantastic butter.

But no, at the usual R80 per 500g it is overpriced due to exchange rate as mentioned above.

I've seen kerrygold plenty, not sure if unsalted, salted, or both

Kerrygold salted is common (gold packaging), the unsalted has the same colour packaging as lurpak (red / silver)
I've been trying to find the Kerrygold unsalted but have been unable to.

I really enjoy the brand that Checkers has been stocking lately - I get single origin - my fav is the one from Guatemala. Definitely prefer to grind my own beans - they also stay fresh longer in bean form AFAIK.

We buy the Clover stuff. The Springbok is the unsalted one and the Mooi River is the salted I think.
