One person taking two seats...of course it matters - once both tournaments hit 0 out of 60, no-one else will be able to register and you will have kept someone out of their seat.

I don't think that the addition of unlocked weapons does create much of an advantage, especially when players are of a similar skill.

Anyway, at the moment both statements are merely "opinions" that need to be tested, hence the tournament. We will compare player relative performance from qualifier to final. Its important for us to know exactly what the effect of unlocked weapons are so we can properly respond to players on the "fairness" of unlocked weapons - it has come up quite a lot and we need to address it (lot of the more experience online players want them).

i think im a decent bf 2 player but without my guns that i know i will not perform my best

just a though i cannot make it either just see if bfc killa is on the list its my buddies 21st damn him :)

When is the 21st? Friday or Saturday? Surely you can make one of them?

With regards to the unlocks...you play with the unlocks because you think it makes you better. Does it really? We will find out in the tournament I think..I am not really sure how it will pan out, but I still think it is an important question to answer. Will an AsaultToxic come first with or without unlocks...hmmm.
 
sooo... i'm a little cofused as to how the round starts now?

does the admin pop up and go, ok restart, he resets the round and we all go?

or does the entire map load.... and then 10 guys run off and kill every1 first.. and the once the last few have loaded they start 5 points behind?



and don't u wanna send me a certificate thingy for my win last time?
 
Tell you what - if you win again, I'll definitely send you a certificate that you can put up on the wall - this is the first "official" tournament.

As far restarts go, we will restart the map and put up a THIS IS IT for everyone to see. Also, just prior to restart we will warn that restart for Tournament is happening...I also don't think that shutting down the server is fair.
 
the whole commander thing too..... it almost doesnt seem right.... there needs to be like autocommander

Seriously, if you see anyone doing it, you can point it out to us and we can review the battlerecorder files. If someone is caught doing it, we will, at the least deduct points or worst, disqualify them depending of the severity of the infringment.
Also, we review the battlerecorder files anyway.
 
I doubt a commander would ever win the match, but we have turned global ranks back on to allow for more experienced players to take the role...one of the complaints from the beta was that noobs had taken commander, here a more experience player can override a noob.

unlocks dont make me better, they make me better because i use them alot and get to know them well

i havent played with non unlocked gun in 5 months
 
Can we get battlerecorder so that it records first person view too ? please

Watch the video 'Sir. Basic Explosives Ordinance' and see that they have a view in 1st person
 
It was probably taken with FRAPS, not battlerecorder (the first person stuff)
