Growth on bitcoin will render interest lost negligible.

No way interest is worth risking missing out on a dip. You'll 10-to-1 make several times that interest in a single trade/a few days anyway as opposed to a month/year.

I always keep some bitcoin and fiat on exchanges ready to roll. This was even before I started day trading.

Thats pretty much what I've been thinking as well. Even with the dips and "bubbles" I've still increased my initial investment by an order of magnitude more than what I could've ever made from the highest possible interest savings account.

Heck in 3 weeks I made more than what my unit trust portfolio yielded over 3 years. Unlike ZAR, BTC doesn't drop in value whenever one of our finance ministers get fired. I'm actually considering "storing" some of my SA savings in BTC over the Dec period since I have little confidence in the stability of the ZAR during and after the ANC conference.

Can you guys recommend any good Youtube channels about BTC? There's a lot out there, so obviously good and bad ones.
Looking for some good opinions, good insites, people with experience basically talking some sense.

interesting move.

Wat would you do if BTC lost 80% overnight like its done 3 times before?

Nothing...and wait for it to bounce back up like it's done each time after. (that's a lie, we'd just buy more!)

Seems like BTC bubbles are like bone fractures. Each time it recovers from one it grows back stronger, which enforces further confidence in it, causing more people to buy, price spikes, people sell for quick profits, everyone sees sell walls as panic selling. Everyone else sells, price falls, bubble bursts...everyone buys in at cheap prices, prices rise even further, rinse repeat.

Ive panic sold during 2 of them. Held during the last. If I held from the start I would've had 4x as much ROI as I have now.

Totally... If you consider that it's not only bounced back, but exploded after the last few crashes, I reckon with the current interest growing, it's likely to only dip for short bursts from here on out, at least for a while. Would love an opportunity to buy at $1k again but *cough*....

Then I blame you for changing your nick.

Hehehe

Search for Andreas Antonopolous on YouTube, he has a simple way of explaining bitcoin.

People may laugh at me and hate me for recommending it, but for 'alt cryptos' go check suppoman, he doesn't do btc much, and pushes his udemy a lot, but you won't find anyone more passionate about their coins than him
