Hi,

**EDIT**
***********************************************
Transactions are now back and BTC in my wallet - thx.
***********************************************

Please explain this:
-snip

I DID NOT SEND THIS OR CONFIRMED ANY TRANSACTION FROM LUNO THIS MORNING.

Please explain.

I'd strongly suggest removing this info, you need to post these kind of queries directly to our Support team.

So money cleared in my wallet and the exchange system worked perfectly. Thanks again for all the help.

I think what you mean is 'we don't for client support'
IMO an integrated 'chat' feature on the site or telegram/whatsapp won't go down too badly.

I don't think that's the case at all.
We've always strived to provide outstanding support, and it's a huge focus of ours this quarter.

In short, no one could have foreseen this unprecedented growth. For the Community Team specifically, we've got3 new starts joining on 1 December and we're continuing to hire throughout December and have good forecasting set out for 2018. This goes for all the teams too.

We'd love to offer phone and live chat support, we simply don't have the resources to run something like this yet.

I'm really sorry that you aren't getting the best possible experience with us. The current price rally has created a huge influx of tickets, new load on our systems and new sign-ups. It's been a crazy week. And I can assure you, Luno isn't alone in seeing this kind of growth.

Wanna re-phrase that ? ;)

I'm trying to get into my account but it says "an error occurred. Please try again".. it's been like that for hours. Does anyone else have the same problem

USD is catching up to us, we will not allow the west to beat us, buy more people:D

Which altcoins do you'll suggest investing in for long term ?

Look for anything with a worthwhile use case, some level of actual implementation, a decent team and a reasonable existing market cap.

Litecoin - already has a lot of the technical improvements that BTC is struggling with (politically and technically). Never forked. IMHO undervalued despite recent gains.
Ripple - although not decentralised could have mainstream adoption by global finance community.
IOTA - uses a different technology. Could one day see main stream adoption in the IOT environment.
ETH - smart contracts and the like. Platform for most ICOs. Well established.
Monero (for privacy), Dash, Neo - worth a look.

These are not for short term profit - research for coins with a compelling reason for existing and a prospect of implementing it, and hold.

Most of the ICOs are long on marketing and short on actual implementation. Probably a few gems but you need to research them.

All above are good

I'll add GAS, EOS, SIA, LBRY, STEEM

Steems already running quite a bit, both steem.it and their d.tube (youtube alternative without ads) is making people loads. lbry.io also heading up and up and up

But as you said, these are long term holds

Is Luno still getting stuck?

On mobile Luno app, BTC and ETH prices have stayed exactly the same in past 15 mins.

Edit: ETH price just went up by about 300 bucks.

Heard the hype and decided to try this bitcoin thing out and I bought at 178 000

Pretty dumb of me to not even look at the charts tbh.

Someone please tell me the last half of the graph is the beginning of a floor and it will shoot up from there?

It also seems like the lowest price is around 12-4 am so isn't it best to buy then and sell when it shoots up during the day?

Any thoughts on a good mix between Ethereum and Bitcoin? I'm currently 50/50 in each. Ehtereum seems like the better tech, but bitcoin has been performing better these past few days.
