My coins are missing. This morning I was receiving some coins on Luno.
I had 2 out of 3 confirmations.
In the middle of the transfer my luno app closed. When it opened my wallet was empty.
The coins have left the sender account and says that the transaction was successful!
I did not receive my coins.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

I've replied to your PM, you need to have a ticket logged and the transaction reported urgently.
By the sounds of things you may also be signing in using a different account if the transaction history is missing entirely.

Just wait. I bought some ETH this morning, and took a while to actually reflect.

Thank you!!!!!!!
The balance reflects here for the correct BTC address. It's just not reflecting in my Luno Wallet

The red ones are sell orders- People who have placed orders to sell xBTC at a certain prices. They are queued i supposed you could call it.
The green list is buy orders- People who have placed orders to buy xBTC at a certain price.

If you want to buy without fees you have place a BUY order below the lowest SELL order
IF you want to sell without fees you have place a SELL order below the lowest BUY order

This doesn't make sense.

If I put a buy order in for 10 BTC @ R1k, it'll never be fulfilled as it's way too low, but then I screw over everyone else who wants to sell without fees because they sure as hell won't sell below my listed price.

I'm obviously missing something somewhere.

Also I could only buy this morning without fees if my buy order was higher than the current BTC trading price.

(Don't worry, Voicy only bought a fraction, it shouldn't cause the price to crash...we hope. :p )

Hi,

**EDIT**

Transactions are now back and BTC in my wallet - thx.

Please explain this:

I've sent Bitcoin to my Luno Address this morning - these two transactions

b128a30e9e4bc6654d1e3f3fa84424fbd45e1b7ac1f37994acfc6a06e50e7294
and
72dd2601620b1534875ea31703182285e279d53f453ea8d44bab0e54899c706a

Briefly showed up under my transactions "awaiting confirmation" and then dissappeared.

Looking at the info on blockchain.info - it looked like it was sent to 392LK4ZQD3gixWg5xJRTv1a24N3YDgCbwP from my Luno address 1GRzgcmtdHBa5tXvY7wFcSywQats4MkB8b

I DID NOT SEND THIS OR CONFIRMED ANY TRANSACTION FROM LUNO THIS MORNING.

Please explain.

We don't I'm afraid.
Please PM me a ticket ref# so I have better context of your query.

I think what you mean is 'we don't for client support'
IMO an integrated 'chat' feature on the site or telegram/whatsapp won't go down too badly.

People who trade can be divided into four groups:

- Instant buyers (these mainly use the homepage. They can also instant buy on the exchange if they set a buy price higher or equal to the current lowest sell price)

- Instant sellers (these mainly use the homepage. They can also instant buy on the exchange if they set a sell price lower or equal to the current highest sell price)

- Exchange buyers who place orders that don't go off instantly

- Exchange sellers who place orders that don't go off instantly

The exchange buyers rely on the instant sellers to fulfill their orders. The exchange sellers rely on the instant buyers to fulfill their orders. If there is no balance between volumes of the two interactions then the price will move up or down. If there are no instant buyers/sellers then the price will never move.

Really sorry about this, we're seeing huge demand on our services.
We're working hard to get this rectified.

Don't just rectify it. FIX it. PERMANENTLY.
This is not this first issues you've had. You need to invest in your infrastructure if you want continued support from us.
You playing with people's money.

And get a help desk phone line. It's really annoying when you have money issues and don't even know if Luno received your e-mail etc.

If you're a company dealing with financials, downtime is a no-no.

NO IT PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE

NO? YOU ARE JUST IN A QUEUE FOR IN CASE IT DIPS THAT LOW SO YOU CAN BUY IN. YOU DON'T SUDDENLY DESTROY THE PRICE (WELL YOU MIGHT BUT OTHER PEOPLE WONT :crylaugh:
I'm obviously missing something somewhere.
PROBABLY BUT THEN SO AM I

Also I could only buy this morning without fees if my buy order was higher than the current BTC trading price.

Completely agree with this, both points.

Ok so transferred cash to my Luno wallet. Now to wait for it to reflect and go buy on the exchange.

Contact Luno about this. This is not a Luno customer service thread. We can't help you, only Luno can.

Please explain.

so this transaction: https://blockchain.info/address/392LK4ZQD3gixWg5xJRTv1a24N3YDgCbwP

transfers money from an absolute sh*tton of addresses to a single account.

However theres no confirmations on it so looks like an attempt to steal bitcoins. Thankfully the blockchain is resistant to this sort of attack (you need > 50% of nodes and hash power for it to work) so it looks like it failed.

As long as that transaction has no confirms it is not valid. No need to worry.

You are full of shit, that is an exchange controlled wallet used by the exchange to distribute coins to many thousands of clients, not theft.
