DO NOT USE INSTANT BUY/SELL

Luno charges ridiculous fees there, always put an order on the exchange and check the fees there. There is something about a maker/ taker fees as well which you can google or we can explain here if you'd like

So basically put in an instruction on the trader to automatically buy at lets say 250k and then sell at 254k? That way I incurr less fees?

Obviously the risk in that is that it may not reach the amount you are hoping for..

How do you buy at 250k and sell at 254k on Luno?

From what I can see, when the price is 250k, and I buy, Luno charges for example 252k, and if I sell immediately, I receive 248k.

How do you guys do it?

Use the exchange and hope someone sells to you. Though I sometimes buy with fees to make sure I can get in if I can see the price is going to push a lot higher. eg. After breaking finally through R250k it was obvious that people will be impulse buying and push the price up fast. So taking a 0.5% fee (R1750 per BTC fee which is a lot) to make another 1% or so made sense.

So how do I use the exchange?

And what are taker and maker fees?

Goto exhange... choose whether you want to buy or sell - put the price you want to sell/buy at - and the amount - submit - then wait?

Altcointrader has like 10 guys trading between themselves. They are probably out on their year end teambuilding or something.
