Anybody using coin market capp (app) by cenci7?

Just had a weird experience on my phone. When I opened the app a skull and bones screen came up with a screaming alarm saying "This is a pirate app. Download the real app HERE"

Did a deposit from FNB and it cleared immediately. Now the important consideration, to buy now or wait it out. Hmmm

Help me out here. Which of the order is the sell order, red or green? If I want to match a sell order, do I have to have the exact amount, or can I only match with what I have?

Buy is normally on the right - green - price someone will buy at - lower than current market.

Sell is left - red - price a person will sell at - higher than current market.

All the above are makers. 0% fee on Luno.

If you match a sell order when you buy, you pay a taker fee of 1%. (On Luno)

You can match what you need, doesn't have to be all. Can be R1 worth if you want.

The term "walls" is where there is so many sell orders that multiple people have to buy to break down the wall before the price moves up.

Bought my first few 'pieces' of a Bitcoin this morning @ R263 500 per coin on Luno. Unfortunately missed the dip to R256something this morning. But I'm in this for the long run.

I've read through this whole thread a while ago but I weren't specifically looking for anything regarding paper wallets. Can anyone perhaps explain to me how I can set up a paper wallet? I currently have 2 factor authentication enabled on Luno but I'm still unsure of how safe it is to keep my coins on there.

I've played around with R20 and this

https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/

Seems to be working when importing into blockchain.info. What I don't like about a paper wallet is that it works like a piggy bank. If you import the paper wallet to an online wallet, you have to import the whole amount as the "change" will be send to another address.

I currently use the electrum software wallet. It gives you a seed of twelve words that you can use to restore the wallet incase of hardware failure.

And if push comes to shove, I have all my keys printed out and laminated on a piece of paper in a safe.

Be trend setters n00bs. Say no to sell walls on round numbers!

Do guys make that much off trading bots ?

I've seen some good ones that must have made over a million rand from trading in the last few weeks.

Edit: Some of them are insanely fast too. I just tested by pushing up my order by random amounts. They were in front of me again in a microsecond. Literally 0.1 seconds or so, just as I saw my order go on the book, they pop up in front. Humans don't stand a chance.

Sorry I'm a newbie to bitcoin.

I have invested a small amount on Luno. So the LUno app is really userfriendly and I can see my money growing when I log into Luno.

So then I decided to invest a small amount also on Ice3x.... i wanted to buy ETH and LTC.

My issue is... and i'm sure i'm just not seeing it, but it is definitely not as userfriendly as Luno.

Where do I see my ZAR balance for the bitcoin I own? It shows my bitcoin amount, my LTC amount and the ETH amount under my balances. I would really like it to reflect this in ZAR value? Is that possible?

Thank you in advance!

Under the btc/zar section, go to `sell btc' and type in the amount of btc as you see it on your btc balance and the zar values will fill up automatically to the highest buy order, and if you want to sell press the pink button

Thanks for the reply!

Pity there is no way to just open a screen and see the balance. But what you said works well!

I may have another question or two later on. Yes ETH is doing quite well. Im a great believer in "don't have all your eggs in one basket" ...so i really wanted to try LTC as well.

Thanks
