I cancelled an altcointrader transaction three days of no showing up. They still argued that it was reversed a week later when it wasn't reflecting back in my account. I now buy from CEX when I need to transfer.
 
First time I've seen Luno's pricing way below Bitpay's/Google's estimate. Too much panic selling at the moment - time to buy :)
 
Bitcoin price on Luno is below usd conversion rate. Has the happened before?
 
So I transferred money from ABSA to Luno, using Instant Transfer (added R20 fee or something), and it cleared immediately on Luno's side
 
4500 BTC volume in 24hours. Not too shabby day for Luno i.t.o. fee income
 
This is threefold. Some investors are pulling out to do their Christmas shopping, some are panicking and selling, and a lot have sold to buy at a lower value. The office bitcoin gurus are panicking.
I'm walking away from this, will look at my portfolio in a few weeks.
