Poloniex are experiencing difficulties at the moment, changelly and minergate is also affected. (both use Poloniex)

Okay, well, ShapeShift is under heavy load and that is why there is a massive delay in transactions. Apparently, I have nothing to worry about, if my transaction fails it will be refunded and if my transaction is ‘precise’ my trade will be locked in on the amount that I have exchanged for. Wow, this is assuring…

I missed out on the ICO of Bencor. I've learned my lesson. Next time I'll be ready and have my tokens ready on myetherwallet.

I'll buy Bancor once they're tradable. From the videos I've seen, Bancor is gonna be huge. It'll be as big as Facebook & Google combined. Don't say I didn't tell you :)

Our very south african Vinny Langham will launch Civic on the 21st of June. I'll invest most definitely. His ICO or platform is about identification & security, something that's needed more.

GF still waiting for shapeshift :/

Mine went through less than 30sec ago, just saw it complete on the other monitor. Apparently, it was due to the load from the Bancor ICO transfers.

EDIT:

Even though my transaction was precise, I received it on the latest exchange rate, about $20 less than at the time of exchange.

I'm really worried now guys, it's been 18 hours since transferring ETH from Lykke to MyEtherWallet, and the transaction is still hanging on the Lykke exchange. The confirmation message on Lykke says "Onchain in process". Will it ever go through? Or does the traffic become so bad that it can take days on the Ethereum blockchain network? I've heard from people before that some Bitcoin transactions can take days, but I didn't think it could happen on the Ethereum?

I eft'd funds to Luno Sunday afternoon, Funds cleared about 23h50 last night. I bought BTC via Luno Exchange, sent some BTC to Jaxx wallet and Shapeshift to ETH (Medium mining fee). It took 4 hours for the ETH to appear in my wallet. Not bad but I feel I am getting screwed over by fees.

I'll work out the fees as a % of funds a bit later.

Month-end I'll try purchasing ETH directly via cex.io and see what the fees are like.

CEX.io apparently - I know they are trusted, but I have not personally used them before.

Have used them a few times. At the moment the best rates for buying USD with a credit card I could find at 3.5%
You also get charged a Taker fee on buying of 0.2%/ Without being verified you're limited to $300 per day and $1000 per month.

I bought some bitcoins three or so weeks ago using Luno and created an account on Ethereum-wallet, but fortunately didn't exchange my bitcoins. I forgot about it until yesterday when I decided to trade and noticed that Ethereum-wallet had been hacked. I've downloaded Jaxx, but I'm curious how safe it is. Is it a good platform to keep my coins in long term?

Would like to know what others are doing and would appreciate some advice.

Jaxx Wallet Vulnerability Puts Your Bitcoin At Risk: Update From Jaxx..Nilang told users the wallet was not meant to be used for long-term cryptocurrency storage. Designed as a hot wallet, Nilang said, users must ensure the full security of their devices to prevent theft.

My ETH have finally reflected on myetherwallet wallet. I even donated 0.01 ETH to myetherwallet. Strange though that on my Lykke account, it still reflects "Onchain in process".

Hi guys, I have been doing a bunch of research on this stuff but am still fairly new to it. Having looked into the Bancor concept I am feeling a bit silly for missing the ICO yesterday.. Did any of you get some BNT? If so how did you go about this? Currently I just use a combination of Luno and Jaxx for my cryptocurrency dabbling

Meh - I decided to skip the Bancor ICO. I think it is oversubscribed and it will take ages for ROI. So many other ICO's and already released coins/projects that look good. Will keep an eye on the price once it hits exchanges - some nice price dumps available sometimes - especially if peeps see they would need to hold long term and can't flip for a quick return.

Any opinions on the Monaco ICO? it looks interesing.

I invested some ETH. There are other cards out there as well, so probably a bit risky, but they seem to have a good team, marketing etc. etc. Holding thumbs :)

How do you take part in Civic ? Are you based in the US.

Heavily edited.... I was hoping to get into the token sale but its currently limited to the US only it seems.
