Think this episode just shows how easy it is to manipulate the value of cryptocurrency. Not a good thing being so unstable as who is going to accept it as payment when the value could drop by 20% tomorrow.

Yeah - might see more movement up between 13:00 and 14:00 today. I'm excited for next year - the end of the year is approaching and things get quiet. But yeah - looking forward to this coming week.

I need sia to rocket. Doubt it will be 1 dollar soon, but when it hits 1 dollar i'll never have to work another day in my life.

That scenario is 9 dollars for civic.

Nah most merchants use bitpay which solves that problem.

All related to early adoption, a small market cap and the complexity of understanding what it actually is for those who don't understand cryptography and the internet infrastructure.
The fact that discussions over the legitimacy of the currency from ignoramuses is still the biggest "problem" it faces is nothing but a positive thing.

I'm happy using the currency as an investment for now, roller coaster and all... but eventually this meme always comes to mind:
